  • **Max Weight:** This sliding scale is directly related to the physical requirements needed to maintain safe and appropriate balance while sitting in a saddle. While participants are riding, their center of gravity (and balance) is altered by being elevated in a seated position. We adhere to this requirement because: 1. Participants who fall outside this range are significantly more likely to fall off their horse and injure themselves. 2. Participants who fall outside this range and do not have advanced training and experience* in riding techniques, correct riding posture, and correct seated balance in the saddle, cause excess strain on a horse’s back. **Feet Inches --> Max Pounds:** 4' 0" --> 100 4' 1" --> 105 4' 2" --> 110 4' 3" --> 115 4' 4" --> 120 4' 5" --> 125 4' 6" --> 130 4' 7" --> 135 4' 8" --> 140 4' 9" --> 145 4' 10" --> 150 4' 11" --> 155 5' 0" --> 160 5' 1" --> 165 5' 2" --> 170 5' 3" --> 175 5' 4" --> 180 5' 5" --> 185 5' 6" --> 190 5' 7" --> 195 5' 8" --> 200 5' 9" --> 205 5' 10" --> 210 5' 11" --> 215 6' 0" --> 220 6' 1" --> 225 6' 2" --> 230 6' 3" --> 235 6' 4" --> 240 6' 5" --> 245 6' 6" --> 250 6' 7" --> 255 For participants who are over 6'7", please contact us to discuss riding options. *We do not make exceptions for participants who personally attest to having advanced training and experience.
