Terms of Service
Tripsora Tours is operated by Tripsora Capitals Ltd (company number 16549250, 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX). First come the terms that are specific to Tripsora Tours, then the general terms of Tripsora Capitals Ltd.
Tripsora Tours
For travellers
Tripsora Tours shows two kinds of activity: (1) activities sold by Viator, and (2) activities run by independent local providers who list directly with us. Tripsora is a listing and information service. It does not run activities and is not the seller or organiser of any activity.
Viator activities. When you press “Book on Viator” we send you to viator.com. Your booking is made with Viator and the operator, under Viator's own terms, and Tripsora is not a party to it. Tripsora does not take, confirm, change, cancel or refund these bookings: do that with Viator. Prices, times, availability, photos and descriptions come from Viator and can change. Tripsora may earn a commission from Viator at no cost to you.
Activities from local providers. When you book one of these on Tripsora Tours, your booking is a contract between you and the provider. The price shown is paid to the provider directly (on the day, or through the provider's own payment link if they give one). Tripsora does not collect, hold, share in or guarantee that payment, is not a party to it and cannot refund it. Nothing is charged by Tripsora when you book.
Cancellations and changes. You can cancel a provider booking free of charge from the link in your confirmation email, up to the cut-off time shown on the activity page. A provider may cancel or change a departure (for example because of weather, illness or too few people); if they do, we email you. Tripsora cannot promise that an activity will run.
Safety and responsibility. Activities are run by the operator, not by Tripsora. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, fitness, belongings and behaviour, and for any children or people with you. The operator is responsible for running the activity safely. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Reviews. Only travellers whose attendance a provider has confirmed (checked in) can review an activity run by a Tripsora provider. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of abuse, personal data, advertising or anything unlawful. We may hide or remove a review that breaks these rules, but we do not remove a review just because it is critical. Providers cannot pay for, edit or remove reviews. Ratings on Viator activities are Viator's and Tripadvisor's, not ours.
Your account. You need an account to save activities and keep your bookings together. You must give accurate details, and can delete your account at any time in My account → Profile. We may suspend an account that is misused.
For providers
Providers pay a flat subscription for their plan; Tripsora charges no commission or per-booking fee. New provider accounts pay a one-off verification fee by card (shown on the pricing page, currently £1; it confirms that you are a real person with a working card, is not refundable and is not an identity-document check), and their activities go live once it is paid. The Starter plan then includes your first 5 bookings (or 90 days, whichever comes first); after that, activities are hidden from search and closed to new bookings until you upgrade, but existing bookings stay valid. If a subscription payment fails, activities stay visible for a 7-day grace period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the billing page and run until the end of the paid period. Providers must hold any licence, permit and insurance required for their activities and must describe them accurately.
Your content. You are responsible for your profile, photos, activity descriptions, prices, meeting points and schedule, and you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them (including photos of other people). You keep ownership, and you give Tripsora a non-exclusive, free licence to host, display, translate and promote them on Tripsora Tours, in search results and in our marketing for as long as they are listed. When you delete an activity or your account, we remove them from the site (copies in backups and search engines may last a little longer).
Prices and payment. You set your own prices. Travellers pay you directly; you are the seller and responsible for taxes, refunds and consumer-law obligations towards them. Do not charge travellers a different price from the one you list, or ask them to pay Tripsora anything.
What providers must not do. Do not list fake, misleading or unlicensed activities; post reviews of your own activity or pay for reviews; collect travellers' details for any purpose other than running and following up your booking; or use the platform for anything unlawful or abusive. We may hide a listing, suspend or close an account, or refuse a sign-up where these terms are broken, a listing is inaccurate or there are repeated complaints. We will tell you why where we can.
Your responsibilities. You are an independent business, not our employee, agent or partner. You are responsible for running activities safely, for your own insurance, licences and permits, and for your own tax. You are responsible for any traveller data you receive and must use it only as UK/EU data-protection law allows. If you cancel a departure, tell travellers as soon as you can; the site emails booked travellers when you cancel it in your dashboard.
Ending your account. You can close your account at any time from Dashboard → Privacy. Closing it cancels your future departures (travellers are emailed), stops your subscription and deletes your profile, activities and photos; the verification fee and subscription payments already made are not refunded except as the law requires. We may end an account as described above, and may end or change the service with reasonable notice.
General terms of Tripsora Capitals Ltd
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and TRIPSORA CAPITALS LTD ("we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of our websites – https://www.tripsora.com, https://www.routeplanner.ai, https://www.trip-planner.ai and https://www.tripbuilder.ai – and the related applications, tools and services, including the Tripsora AI travel agent and the RoutePlanner.ai route assistant (together, the "Service").
The Service also includes the Creator Program on https://www.trip-planner.ai, where independent creators publish travel itineraries ("Trips"). Creators are also bound by our Creator Terms.
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Age
The Service is only for people aged 18 or over. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18. The Service is not directed at children, and we ask users to confirm their age before using our AI assistants.
Where the Service is offered
The Service is provided from the United Kingdom. You may not use it if you are located in, or a resident of, a country subject to UK sanctions, or if you are on a UK list of restricted parties. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
2. Definitions
- "Consumer": an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
- "AI-Generated Content": answers, trip plans, routes, maps, tips and other content generated with the help of artificial intelligence.
- "Partner": an independent company whose products you can book through links on the Service (for example airlines and travel agencies, hotel booking sites, tour operators, transfer and eSIM providers).
- "AI assistant": the Tripsora AI travel agent (section 4) or the RoutePlanner.ai route assistant (section 4A).
- "Question": a message to an AI assistant that is counted against your allowance for that assistant (see sections 4 and 4A).
- "User Content": anything you submit to the Service, including your messages to our AI assistants.
- "Creator": a person approved to publish Trips in the Creator Program.
- "Creator Trip": an itinerary and related content (text, photos, links, embedded clips) published by a Creator. Creator Trips are free to read.
- "Remix": a plan generated by AI for you that uses a Creator Trip as its starting point.
3. Consumer rights
If you are a Consumer, you have rights under UK law that these Terms do not exclude or limit, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the UK GDPR. If these Terms conflict with your statutory rights, your statutory rights apply. If any term is found unfair, it does not apply to you, and the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
4. The Tripsora AI travel agent
The Tripsora AI travel agent helps you plan trips in a chat. It can ask you questions to understand your trip, search recent flight fares, suggest hotels and activities with booking links, check the weather for your dates, build a day-by-day plan with a map, and send, share or export that plan.
- Free questions and question packs. Each verified email address receives a number of free questions. Further questions can be bought as question packs under our Digital Product Purchase Agreement · Creator Terms, which explains what counts as a question, which questions are free and your cancellation rights. The current allowance and prices are shown on our website.
- Fair use. To keep the Service available for everyone, you can send one question per minute, and we limit the number of messages per connection. During busy periods you may have to wait for a free AI slot; the chat shows the waiting time.
- Memory. If you are signed in, the agent can remember travel preferences you tell it (for example your home airport, who usually travels and your interests). You can delete them at any time with "Forget my preferences".
- Availability. The agent depends on third-party AI and data providers. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Paid questions are not used up by answers that fail because of a fault on our side.
4A. The RoutePlanner.ai route assistant
The RoutePlanner.ai route assistant plans road trips in a chat. From your start, destination and wishes it chooses stops, calculates the route on roads, splits the drive into driving days with overnight stops, can avoid tolls, motorways or ferries, shows the route on a map, links to hotels at each overnight stop and opens the route in Google Maps. It plans on its own and only asks you a question if it does not know where you are starting or going.
- Free question and question packs. Each verified email address receives free questions for the route assistant. Further questions can be bought as question packs under our Digital Product Purchase Agreement, which explains what counts as a question, which answers are free and your cancellation rights. The allowance and balance for the route assistant are separate from those of the Tripsora AI travel agent. The current allowance and prices are shown on routeplanner.ai.
- Fair use. We limit the number of messages per hour and per connection. Automated use is not permitted.
- Conversation. The route assistant does not save travel preferences. Your conversation and current route are kept in the open browser page and sent with each message so the assistant can change your route; they are not kept when you close or reload the page.
- Routes are estimates. Distances, driving times and roads are calculated from map data and do not reflect live traffic, roadworks, closures, weather, vehicle restrictions, low-emission zones, vignettes, ferry timetables or the range of an electric vehicle. A route that avoids tolls, motorways or ferries may not avoid them in every case. Plan enough breaks, and check your route before you set off.
- Road safety. Always follow road signs, traffic laws and instructions from the authorities. Do not use the route assistant while driving.
- Availability. The route assistant depends on third-party AI, map and routing providers. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Questions are not used up by answers that fail because of a fault on our side.
4B. Sponsorships (business sponsors)
This section applies if you apply to sponsor our websites. Sponsorships are offered to businesses and organisations acting for business purposes, not to Consumers. By applying you confirm that you are authorised to bind the business you apply for. Section 3 (Consumer rights) does not apply to sponsorships.
Applying and approval
Every application is reviewed by us and may be accepted or refused at our discretion. A sponsorship starts only when we have approved your application and your first payment has been received. We may refuse, suspend or remove a sponsor or listing at any time where it does not meet these Terms.
Price, billing and renewal
- The price and the benefits of your tier are shown on our sponsor page and in our approval email. A custom price agreed with you in writing applies instead.
- Prices are in pounds sterling and are the amount you pay; no additional tax is added at checkout.
- Sponsorships are billed by subscription through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- We may change a price or the benefits of a tier. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the change affects your next renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect. If our sponsor page offers a founding-sponsor price lock when you start, that price is held for the stated number of months from the start of your sponsorship.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your sponsor dashboard (the Manage billing button) or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: your listing stays live until then and you are not charged again.
Refunds
Fees for a billing period that has already started are not refundable, except where the law requires it or where we remove your listing for reasons that are not a breach of these Terms by you, in which case we refund the fee for the unused part of the period.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, your listing is hidden until the payment succeeds. If it is not resolved within a reasonable time, we may end the sponsorship.
Promotion codes
If we give you a promotion code, it applies only as described when we issue it, may be limited in use or time, has no cash value and may be withdrawn if it is misused. A sponsorship obtained with a code is subject to these Terms in the same way.
Your listing
- You provide a display name, a short description (up to 200 characters), a link and optionally a logo. You must have the rights to everything you submit.
- Your listing must be lawful, accurate and not misleading, must link to your own business website, and must not contain malware, adult or hateful content, or anything that infringes others' rights. Listings are plain text and images only.
- We review every listing and every change before it goes live and may reject or remove content that does not comply.
- You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to display your name, description, link and logo on our websites and in our posts about our sponsors for as long as your sponsorship lasts.
Sponsored labelling and independence
Sponsor links are marked as sponsored, and our social media posts about sponsors are labelled as advertising. A sponsorship is not an endorsement of your business by us, and it does not influence the answers, plans, routes or recommendations given by our AI assistants or our editorial content.
Results and reports
We do not guarantee any level of traffic, clicks, enquiries or sales. Any click statistics or reports we provide are based on visits that pass through our sponsor links and are provided as an indication only.
Ending a sponsorship
Either of us may end a sponsorship under this section. We may end it immediately if you materially breach these Terms. When it ends, we remove your listing and you can ask us to delete the content you supplied.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to section 14, our total liability to you for a sponsorship is limited to the fees you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.
4C. Creators and Creator Trips
Independent creators. Creators are independent people, not our employees, and Creator Trips express their own experiences and opinions. We review applications and may remove content, but we do not check every statement in a Creator Trip. Prices, opening hours and entry rules change: check them with Partners and official sources before you book or travel (section 12).
Free to read. Creator Trips are free to read on our site. We do not sell them and do not take payments for creators. (The only payment between a creator and us is the one-off, non-refundable £5.00 account set-up fee a creator pays when creating an account; see the Creator Terms.) A creator may link to a tips page or to a longer guide that they sell themselves on another website (for example Ko-fi, Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy). Those links are the creator's own, are marked as such, and are not affiliate links of ours. If you tip or buy, you deal with the creator and that website under their terms; we are not the seller, not a party to the sale and not responsible for it.
Remix. You can ask our AI to adapt a Creator Trip to your dates, budget and interests. Remix is free, but we limit how many you can make each day. A Remix is AI-Generated Content (section 12): it keeps some of the creator's picks and wording where they fit, adds suggestions made by the AI (marked as such), may contain mistakes, and is for your own use. We keep your answers and the plan for 30 days at a private link, then delete them.
Links and commissions. Hotel, tour and activity links on Creator Trips are created by us using our own partner accounts, and we may earn a commission if you book through them at no extra cost to you (see the Affiliate Disclosure). Creators do not receive a share of those commissions. If a Creator has been paid or given anything by a business for what they say, they must tell you; if you think one has not, please cs@tripsora.com.
Creator account fee and deleting an account. A creator pays a one-off account set-up fee of £5.00 to set up their account. No VAT is added. It is non-refundable (except where the law says otherwise) and is explained in the Creator Terms. A creator can delete their account at any time from their dashboard, and we then remove their profile and Trips as described in the Creator Terms and Privacy Policy.
Reporting and copyright complaints. To report a page that infringes your copyright or other rights, or is wrong, unsafe or unlawful, use our form at trip-planner.ai/report or e-mail copyright@tripsora.com. We aim to review reports within 2 business days and, where content appears to infringe, remove it or disable access to it promptly. Our Copyright Policy and section 9A of the Creator Terms explain the process, including counter-notices and repeat infringers. This applies to content on all our sites, not only Creator Trips.
4D. Trip Pack (printable pack)
What it is. The Trip Pack is a digital product you can buy for one saved plan on Tripsora or TripBuilder. It is a web page you can print or save as a PDF, with that plan's day-by-day itinerary, a checklist, a packing list, notes from the plan and booking links. It is for your own personal use: you may not resell or republish it.
Price and payment. The price is shown at checkout in pounds sterling and is paid once, by card through Stripe. You are not charged again. We email you a link to your pack when you pay, so please keep that email: the link is how you open the pack again.
Immediate delivery and your right to cancel. The pack is delivered digitally straight after payment. Before you pay we ask you to agree that we deliver it immediately and that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This does not affect your other rights below.
If something is wrong. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described. If your pack does not open, is missing what we described, or is faulty, e-mail cs@tripsora.com with the e-mail address you paid with. We will fix it or, if we cannot, refund you. Because the pack is generated from a plan produced by AI, a different opinion about the contents, or a change in prices or opening hours after you buy, is not a fault (section 12).
Your plan must stay available. The pack is built from your saved plan when you open it, so it can be opened only while that plan is stored on our systems. We recommend you print it or save it as a PDF when you buy it.
Accuracy and links. The pack contains AI-Generated Content (section 12) and may contain mistakes: check opening hours, prices, entry rules and availability with the provider before you travel. It includes booking links to Partners, for which we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you (section 9 and the Affiliate Disclosure). We are not an insurer or insurance intermediary, and a link to an insurer is not advice.
5. Accounts and email verification
- To use our AI assistants you verify your email address with a one-time code. Your verification is remembered on your device for up to 30 days. You may also create a free account.
- Provide accurate information, use only email addresses you control, and keep access to them secure.
- One person, one allowance. Free questions for each AI assistant are intended for one person. Creating or using several email addresses to obtain additional free questions is not permitted.
- Tell us immediately at cs@tripsora.com if you believe someone else is using your email address on the Service.
- Optional emails. If you ask us to email you a plan, a pre-trip checklist or a one-off reminder about a saved plan, we send only what you asked for. A reminder is sent once, does not mean that prices or availability stay the same, and can be cancelled with the link in our emails. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your address.
Creator accounts are separate from reader accounts and are protected by a password or a one-time sign-in link sent to the e-mail address on the account. Creators must keep their account secure (see the Creator Terms).
6. Intellectual property
We own or license all intellectual property in the Service, including its design, software, trademarks, content and AI systems. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service and the AI-Generated Content you receive for your own personal travel planning, including sharing your plans with your travel companions. You may not copy, resell or commercially exploit the Service, remove copyright notices or reverse engineer our software or AI systems.
Creators own their Creator Trips and grant us a licence to display and adapt them (see the Creator Terms). The rest of the Service, including our design, software and AI systems, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not scrape, copy or resell Creator Trips.
7. Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, to harm others, or to transmit malware;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or to other users' data;
- access the Service with bots, scripts or other automated means, or overload our infrastructure;
- circumvent question limits, waiting times, rate limits or security measures, including by using multiple email addresses;
- try to make an AI assistant produce unlawful, harmful or misleading content, or to extract its instructions or underlying data;
- systematically extract data, resell access or use the Service to build a competing product;
- impersonate others or submit content that infringes others' rights.
We may suspend or end access for breaches of this section. For Consumers we act proportionately and, where possible, give notice first.
8. Your content and shared plans
- You keep ownership of your messages. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process them as needed to provide the Service (including sending them to our AI, map and routing providers), to keep them for the periods in our Privacy Policy, and to keep backups.
- Do not include sensitive personal information (for example health details, passport numbers or payment card data) in your messages.
- Shared plans. When you use "Share link", anyone with the link can view that plan (including any name it contains) until it expires after 180 days. Only share links with people you trust. You can ask us to delete a shared plan at any time.
- We may remove content that breaches these Terms or the law.
If you are a Creator, the Creator Terms say how we may use Your Content. If you give a Remix input (for example your dates, budget and interests), we use it to generate your Remix and as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Bookings with partners and third-party websites
- When you follow a booking link, you leave our Service. Bookings are contracts between you and the Partner, under the Partner's terms and privacy policy. We are not a party to them and cannot change, cancel or refund them.
- Prices, availability and conditions are set by Partners and may differ from what an AI assistant showed, which may be recently found or approximate information.
- We may earn a commission when you book through our links, at no extra cost to you. See our Disclaimer & Affiliate Disclosure.
10. Privacy and data protection
We process personal data under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR, as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent.
11. API usage
If we give you API access, you may use it only for the purposes we authorise, within published limits, without sharing your credentials, and without replicating or competing with the Service. API access is provided "as is" and may change or end with reasonable notice.
12. AI-generated content
- Not professional advice. AI-Generated Content is information to help you plan; it is not professional travel, legal, medical or financial advice.
- May contain mistakes. It may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated, including names of places, opening hours, prices, transport options, descriptions of hotels, routes, distances and driving times.
- Verify before you rely on it. Check prices, times, availability, routes and visa, health and entry requirements with Partners and official sources before booking or travelling.
- Your judgement comes first. Do not follow suggestions that seem unsafe or unsuitable for you.
We are not liable for losses caused by relying on AI-Generated Content without verification, or for changes that occur after it was generated. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (section 14).
13. Disclaimers
We provide the Service "as is" and "as available" and do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or up to date. For Consumers, this does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For business users, we disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of liability
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
- Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
15. Indemnification (business users only)
If you use the Service as a business, you indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or of third-party rights. This section does not apply to Consumers.
16. Term, termination and changes to the Service
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data. Creators can also delete their own account (see section 4C). We may suspend or end access for material breaches of these Terms or the law; for Consumers we give reasonable notice unless immediate action is needed for safety or legal reasons. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; for paid products, the remedies in the Digital Product Purchase Agreement apply.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers may bring claims in the courts of England or of their country of residence and may use alternative dispute resolution. Business users submit to the English courts. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law or in the Service. We will update the date above and, for significant changes affecting Consumers, give at least 30 days' notice by email (if we have your address) or on the Service. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service before the changes take effect.
19. Miscellaneous
Languages. The websites and the AI assistants can be used in several languages. Translations of the interface, of plans and of emails are provided for convenience and may contain mistakes. These Terms and our other legal documents are written in English, and the English version applies if there is a difference.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer & Affiliate Disclosure and – for paid products – the Digital Product Purchase Agreement, form the entire agreement between us. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms to a successor; you may not without our consent. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
