About this activity

During this unforgettable tour, a licensed archaeology guide will take you through the captivating ruins of Pompeii.

As you retrace the footsteps of the Romans, you’ll also see the poignant plaster casts of the victims of the 79 AD eruption of Mount Vesuvius — a powerful and emotional reminder of the city’s tragic end.

To ensure the best possible experience, the itinerary may be adapted according to crowd conditions and site accessibility. However, you will always visit key highlights from each major area, including a temple, a villa, a market, and other important sites.

The guided portion inside the ruins lasts approximately 2 hours, offering a rich and immersive exploration of the archaeological site.

Before entering the ancient city, you’ll enjoy a brief stop at a traditional cameo workshop, where skilled artisans hand-carve delicate designs from shells.
