3-Day Ice Cave, South Coast, Golden Circle and Northern Lights

About this activity

Your 3-day Iceland winter adventure begins in Reykjavík, taking you along the Golden Circle and South Coast to discover the country's most remarkable natural attractions. Visit Þingvellir National Park, watch Strokkur geyser erupt, and admire the powerful Gullfoss waterfall. Continue along the South Coast to Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, before exploring the icebergs of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach.

The adventure also includes two glacier experiences: a guided glacier hike and a natural ice cave visit (October–March). With two nights of countryside accommodation and breakfast included, you can enjoy the journey at a comfortable pace. During September–March, your guide will monitor Northern Lights forecasts for possible sightings, weather permitting.

After three days of exploring Iceland’s waterfalls, glaciers, and volcanic landscapes, return to Reykjavík at approximately 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, subject to road and weather conditions.

  • The limit is 24″ suitcase per person, and no multiple luggage allowed. If there is limited space in the car you might need to leave part of your luggage in our luggage storage.
  • We recommend you bring hiking boots with slip-resistant soles if you are visiting in the winter. Hiking boots are available at the time of booking.
  • Ice caves are a dynamic natural phenomena only accessible during wintertime when temperatures drop. Each year new unique caves are formed in different areas of the glacier. We visit a naturally formed ice cave during this tour. The photos are from this winter season, but the cave and other formations we visit might have changed due to the nature of formations.
  • Please note: If part of the tour activity is cancelled due to weather, partial refund will be issued once the tour concludes.
  • We do not issue refunds for specific sightseeing attractions or natural landmarks that are inaccessible due to weather or road conditions. These are public sites, and while we always aim to include them, element access controls their availability.
