Ujung Kulon National Park, located in Banten Province on the extreme south-west trip of the highly populated island of Java, has the best and most extensive lowland forest remaining on the island. Situated about 300 km from the capital city of Jakarta and 140 km from Serang. The national park stretches accross the Ujung kulon Peninsula, Peucang, Handeuleum islands and Mountains.
