About this activity

It is the largest tree in the world! Located in the beautiful town of Santa Maria del Tule where this variety of trees abounds, the Ahuehuete or Sabino, the national tree of Mexico par excellence. The route is 55 minutes by bicycle from the center of the City of Oaxaca to this town, knowing the importance that surrounds this place developed under pre-Hispanic and contemporary cultures. You will be guided by a local guide with realistic perspectives on the environment and nature.

Meeting and pickup

  • The meeting point is a 3 minute walk from the Ethnobotanical Garden, on the side of the Hotel Azul Oaxaca, yellow house with blue metal door and a tree outside, Café Mudu just on the side opens at 7 am and have excellent coffee!
