About this activity

A guided tour to the most monumental religious building of the Hungarian capital. You will see numerous statues and frescos, and the oldest human hand of the world: the mummified right hand of the first Hungarian king Saint Stephen (from 1038).

Meeting and pickup

  • Meet your guide in front of the Basilica Ticket Office. It is on the square, 50 meters to the right from the steps of St Stephen's Basilica, next to Starbucks coffee shop. Your tour guide will hold a sign GUIDED TOUR, staying a few meters away at Starbucks, if there is a crowd at the ticket office.
