About this activity

This Cape Coast tour offers a powerful, emotional journey through Ghana’s history of the transatlantic slave trade. Unlike other tours, it connects three key heritage sites—Assin Manso Slave River, Cape Coast Castle, and Elmina Castle—into one seamless experience. You'll trace the footsteps of enslaved Africans from their last bath at Assin Manso to the "Door of No Return" at the castles. Guided by knowledgeable locals, this tour offers historical depth, cultural context, and moments of deep reflection you won’t find elsewhere.
