What to expect
Your guide provides helmets, lights, and jackets. After a scenic 25-minute walk at your own pace, you’ll reach the cave entrance and can take a refreshing swim in clear, spring-fed water.
Your guide will then help everyone onto their tubes and lead you through Xibalba, the Maya underworld, pointing out sparkling crystal formations along the way. You’ll drift past an underground waterfall before emerging at the cave exit, then continue floating downstream to the parking area.
