Between bites, follow the stories of the musicians who made Deep Ellum a destination. Walk through Blues Alley, discover the venues that gave blues and jazz artists a stage, and explore murals honoring Bessie Smith, Erykah Badu, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Blind Lemon Jefferson.

Meeting and pickup

  • Meet your tour host inside Hawkers Asian Street Food. Street parking and paid parking lots are available throughout Deep Ellum. Please check posted signs and allow extra time for parking and walking to the meeting point. The tour ends a short walk from the starting location.

  • This is a walking tour through Deep Ellum and may include sidewalks, curbs, street crossings and periods of standing.   • Guests should be comfortable walking approximately 1 mile and standing for portions of the 2.5-hour tour. The experience includes both indoor and outdoor portions, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
