Experience an authentic Basque wine tour focused on txakoli, the fresh, saline, and vibrant white wine produced here since before the sixteenth century.

Depart from San Sebastian along the coastal towns of Getaria and Zarautz, where the Atlantic breeze and sea-facing vineyards shape the unique character of Getaria Txakoli DO.

Stroll through Getaria’s harbor and Old Town, then visit a txakolindegi (winery) to see grape-to-glass production, including steep-slope viticulture, harvest, pressing, and fermentation. Enjoy a guided tasting of different txakoli styles paired with a local Cantabrian aperitif.

With hotel pick-up and drop-off, private air-conditioned transport, this tour combines wine, scenery, and gastronomy while providing tips for exploring more wineries and restaurants along the Basque coast.
