Tours From Alexandria Port

About this activity

Your ship docks at Alexandria and the pyramids are a drive away, about 2.5 hours south to Giza, where the only surviving wonder of the ancient world waits.

This private tour for cruise passengers covers two chapters of pyramid building in one day. At Giza you stand beneath the Great Pyramid of Khufu, 2.3 million blocks and 4,500 years old, and meet the Sphinx. At Saqqara you see where it all began, the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest large stone building on earth at around 4,700 years. Your Egyptologist connects the two so the leap in engineering makes sense.

Lunch in Cairo and door-to-door port transfers are included, and you are back aboard in good time.

Ideal for Alexandria cruise guests who want the pyramids done right in a single day.
