Guangzhou: Self-Driving Robotaxi Experience with Guide

4.0(1)1 hFree cancellationBy Authentic Tour Asia

About this activity

Meet your local English-speaking guide at a designated meeting point. Learn about how robotaxis operate in China today, from safety systems and navigation logic to how different companies are developing the technology.

Board a self-driving taxi and take a 10–15 minute ride through the Pazhou area, one of Guangzhou’s most tech-forward districts. Experience a ride with no driver and no steering input, just the system in action.

After arriving, your guide will arrange a return ride along a different route, giving you a second perspective on how the vehicle handles real traffic conditions.

Throughout the experience, your guide will provide clear, practical explanations, not just how the technology works, but how it’s already being integrated into daily life across Chinese cities.
