As you walk through the medieval streets and historic squares, we'll explore the people, events and changes that have shaped Vitoria-Gasteiz and the wider Basque Country, from medieval origins to the present day.

This is more than a sightseeing walk. It's a chance to look beyond the obvious, ask questions and have a conversation about the places you visit, while gaining a deeper understanding of Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Basque Country.

Meeting and pickup

  • The meeting point is Gasteizko Batailaren monumentua (Monument to the Battle of Vitoria), right in the heart of the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. You cannot miss it! I will meet you on the south side of the monument. I am always carrying a black folder.
