This tour is done by a small team of 4 historians that want to make people aware of how fast things can change! Learn about the origins and early years of Hitler on a 2.5-hour walking tour of historic Vienna. On this tour, you will hear the History of Austria and Europe from 1900 until 1955. Alongside your guide, you'll find out the answer to the following questions: How did an Austrian postcard painter turn into the world’s most hated man? Where could Hitler and Stalin have met? Plus, you'll see the scars of World War II and visit the only synagogue to survive the Holocaust. Take a deeper look into the darkest days of Vienna’s history.

Meeting and pickup

Albertinaplatz 1, next to Albertina Museum, next to the fountain and sausage stand with the green rabbit on the roof, behind the opera and opposite the tourist information - just look out for our green umbrella! Take the underground lines U1, U2 or U4, disembark at Karlsplatz, take the “Oper” exit.
