About this activity

The House ZEYSSOLFF is one of the few authentic cellars in Alsace, dating from 1870, with about twenty hundred-year-old oak casks each having a capacity of 10,000 L still used for the winemaking of its wines. His great curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF barrel, made in 1897 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (1900). This barrel is still used today.

Children are welcome during the visit, it is suitable for everyone.

  • La Maison ZEYSSOLFF is located in front of a large parking lot. Easily accessible by train: Gertwiller station (5min walk) or Barr station (20 min walk). Shop accessible to people with reduced mobility but cellar not wheelchair accessible.
