Kinderdijk's windmills and historic Delft in one well-paced day, planned around your ship's time in Rotterdam.
• Small group of maximum 16 travelers, starting at the Rotterdam cruise terminal
• New Church, a Delft Blue presentation, a Kinderdijk canal boat ride, a museum windmill and a pumping station included
• Back on board on time: if a tour delay makes you miss your ship, you get a full refund
In Delft, your guide walks you past the canals, the leaning Old Church and the Market Square, then takes you inside the New Church, burial place of the Dutch royal family. At a family-owned Delft Blue workshop, the owner shows you how Delft Blue is made. Then you have about 2 hours of free time for lunch.
At Kinderdijk, a UNESCO site, you take a canal boat ride past the windmills, step inside a museum windmill and visit a pumping station.
A private boat brings you back down the river to the cruise terminal, with no road traffic. Groups of more than 11 travelers return by minibus.
