About this activity

This is a truly unique and authentic private experience in Kotor.

You will visit a traditional Montenegrin family home, spend time with our lovely and engaging host, and prepare local dishes that you won't find in nearby restaurants.

It's an experience for all your senses. You will see the beautiful Old Town, hear local and family stories, enjoy cooking together, and share a homemade meal just like you would at a friend's house.

At the end of the day, you will leave with a full stomach, a happy heart, and wonderful memories to take home with you. :)

Meeting and pickup

  • If you're already in Kotor, the guide will meet you at the Old Town's main gate known as the Sea Gate. Cruise guests will be met at the main port entrance. In both cases, the guide will hold a sign with your name. For pickup elsewhere, please send us a request.

  • No transfer needed if we meet up with you in Kotor
  • Please note: Access to the local home requires climbing approximately 40 steps. This experience is not recommended for people who have difficulty climbing up and down stairs
