While many tourists hope to spot a Geisha on the streets of Gion, experiencing a dinner with a Maiko is an incredibly rare privilege.

(In Kyoto, “geisha” is not the usual local term. A young apprentice is called maiko.)

Due to Kyoto's strict "no first-time customers" rule, this world is completely closed off to regular visitors. Through our established local trust, we grant you VIP insider access to this 300-year-old tradition.
