Travel through Guatemala’s western highlands to Panajachel, where you’ll board a boat for a scenic crossing of the lake. Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes before arriving in San Juan La Laguna.

Explore the town with your bilingual guide and learn about its Maya heritage and local life. Combining time on the lake with a guided village visit, this excursion offers an introduction to Atitlan’s scenery and culture in one day.

Round-trip ground transportation from designated Guatemala City hotels, the lake crossing, and an English- and Spanish-speaking guide are included. Food, drinks, and gratuities are not included.

Allow approximately 12 hours, including extended road travel. The route may pass through Antigua Guatemala.
