Enjoy an easy 1-hour hike through Johnston Canyon, where scenic catwalks lead you above the canyon to stunning waterfalls. Complete your adventure at the peaceful Emerald Lake, known for its vibrant green water and spectacular mountain scenery. After an unforgettable day, sit back and enjoy a comfortable ride back to your original pickup location.

Moraine Lake and Johnston Canyon closes for the season starting on October 13. After that date, our tours will visit Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge instead.

Meeting and pickup

  • Pickup : In front of the Delta Hotel Downtown accross the street near Harry Hays. Keep an eye on a sprintervan with ABestX logo for easy identification (7:30 AM)
  • Outside Banff Train Station (9:10 AM)
  • Please wait at the Commercial Bus Depot behind the hotel five minutes before pickup time (9:00 AM)
  • Please wait at the front door of the hotel five minutes before (8:35 AM)
