Hi! I am Yu Noda, licensed tour guide and photographer!

This is 3-4 hours walking tour to experience two sides of Fukuoka in one tour—historic Hakata and modern Tenjin!

What makes this tour unique is that we don’t just visit sightseeing spots. We connect Fukuoka’s past with how people actually live today. Explore traditional streets, shrines, and local culture in Hakata, then discover the modern lifestyle, shopping, food, and atmosphere of Tenjin.

Along the way, I’ll share stories about Japanese history, religion, culture, and everyday life in a relaxed and friendly way. Ask me anything—from traditions and local food to what it’s really like living in Japan!

And instead of spending your trip taking photos, enjoy the moment. I’ll also be your photographer and capture natural photos of you throughout the experience.

It’s not just sightseeing—it’s a chance to understand Fukuoka, connect with local life, and take home great memories and photos.

Meeting and pickup

  • Normally we all meet up near Hakata Station, but if you are coming from the cruise and do not know how to get to our meeting point, let us know! We will help you to get there before we start a tour!
  • We will meet at the park located 5 minutes walk from Hakata station.
