4.4(171)2 hBy Vox City International Ltd

About this activity

Experience the Churchill War Rooms Bunker which housed the British government during the Second World War. Uncover the underground complex where Sir Winston Churchill and military leaders mapped out victory against Hitler and the Axis powers.

With an audio guide leading your journey, follow in the footsteps of the Allied war effort throughout the Cabinet War Rooms. Explore the top-secret Map Room where you can still see how Allied intelligence tracked the advance and eventual retreat of German soldiers in Russia. Peek inside the secret communication room disguised as a toilet, and hear personal stories of what life was like inside the bunker during the Blitz.

Afterwards, discover more of political London with a self-guided audio tour. Navigate with a digital map and explore 15 points of interest, such as 10 Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament.
