Manchester Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt

New2 hFree cancellationBy Explorial

About this activity

Manchester invented the industrial revolution and the modern football club — it also has a library from 1421 and a church older than both.

This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through Manchester on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time.

• Solve clues at the National Football Museum, Chetham's Library, and St Mary's RC Church — sport, scholarship, and faith woven into one city

• Walk through Manchester on your own terms, no guide and no fixed start time

• Great for football fans, history buffs, families, and first-time visitors

Available in 24 languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian — see the full list when booking and choose yours when you start the game in the app.

Around 2 hours - any group size.

Even if you don't care about football, Chetham's Library will change your mind about Manchester.
