About this activity

The Matanuska Glacier is a premiere attraction in Alaska (and our absolute favorite!) Up to 10 guests will enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful Matanuska river in a Mercedes Sprinter. We'll stop on the way for snacks and coffee and enjoy a guided tour as you relax in comfort and style! Once at the Glacier, we will join a guided tour by the local Matanuska Park Guides throughout the glacier and you will be told about the history, size and scope as you traverse the canyons, peaks, valleys and caves on this beginner to intermediate hike.

Meeting and pickup

  • This is a log cabin for visitors to find more information on 4th Avenue in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. We will pull in, in front of the log cabin to pickup guests.
