These spots rarely have English menus or English-speaking staff, but your Japanese local guide will be with you every step of the way, making the experience easy and enjoyable while you immerse yourself in Japan's unique izakaya culture (Japanese-style pubs).

Meeting and pickup

  • Meeting point: Outside the WEST-Side Entrance of Bic Camera Namba (Not inside the store). This entrance has Bicycles Displayed out front, facing a wide, busy road with Cars. It’s near a FamilyMart and Exit B17 of the underground shopping area. If you'll be late, please contact us.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Please bring some cash for your additional food and drinks, as most of the local spots we visit only accept cash. Food and drinks are reasonably priced!
  • We’re happy to run the tour even for a single participant. It’s also a great tour for solo travelers!
  • We generally run the tour in Rainy weather, except in the case of typhoons or heavy rain warnings (We recommend bringing an umbrella)
  • Vegetarian options are limited. Still, many vegetarians have had a fantastic time! You may want to eat a little beforehand
  • Vegan options are very limited. Still, many vegans have had a fantastic time after having a substantial meal beforehand
  • The number of places we visit may vary depending on the day, participants’ preferences, and the situation
  • Please participate at your own risk regarding allergies and dietary restrictions; however, we’ll do our best to support you!
  • If you’re running late, please contact us because the tour starts on time (We’ll do our best to help you join us smoothly and enjoy the tour!)
  • Not permitted for oversized luggage
  • Under Japanese law, drinking alcohol is prohibited for anyone under 20 years old
