Do not let a fixed tasting menu decide your Osaka night. See what looks delicious, choose what you want and eat like a local.

Osaka is famous for kuidaore, eating until you drop, and some of its best food is hidden in Namba’s backstreets. Featured on NHK, this tour visits three or four local izakayas, food stalls and neighborhood restaurants.

Start with a cold drink and fresh tako-sen, hot takoyaki between crisp shrimp crackers. Then choose what you want to try, from kushikatsu and grilled dishes to seasonal plates. There is no fixed menu. You choose the dishes and pay local prices at each stop.

With no more than eight guests, the group can enter small restaurants that larger tours cannot.

Meeting and pickup

  • Meeting point is our Namba store, just below street level in the Namba Walk arcade, look for the Osaka JOINER sign near exit B21 to B23. *Our shop is Next to DOCOMO Shop and in front of Mother Garden (Pet Paradise)
