Private Guided Tour of African American History Museum

Meet us and we will give you a private tour of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The National Museum of African American History and Culture is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. It was established by an Act of Congress in 2003 following decades of efforts to promote and highlight the contributions of African Americans. The museum has collected more than 36,000 artifacts.

Your tour guide will focus on important highlights to keep your group engaged. During the tour, hear how the stories, histories, and cultures of African Americans are shaped and informed by global influences.

This is not an official Smithsonian tour. Customers booking this tour are paying for UTG Experience's services and perspective, which is independent of and may not represent the views of the Smithsonian.
