About this activity

It combines St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Grottoes, the Papal Tombs, and the Dome Climb in one complete guided experience.

From Michelangelo’s Pietà to Bernini’s Baldachin and the Papal Altar, every major highlight is explained clearly and memorably.

The experience also includes access to the Vatican Grottoes and Papal Tombs, giving travelers a deeper connection to the history of the Basilica and the legacy of the popes buried beneath it.

To complete the visit, the included Dome Climb offers one of the best panoramic views in Rome, overlooking St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City, and the rooftops of the Eternal City.
