Your shore excursion begins in Sorrento, one of the most charming towns on the Sorrento Peninsula.Stroll through scenic public gardens overlooking the island of Capri and the Bay of Naples, browse artisan shops selling handmade local products, sample Italian gelato or street food, enjoy authentic regional cuisine at cafés and restaurants, or relax at the beach to take a refreshing swim.

Pompeii – 2-hour guided tour of the ruins

The tour then continues to Pompeii, where a two-hour guided tour of the archaeological site is included. Accompanied by a licensed local guide, you’ll explore one of the world’s most important ancient cities, with clear explanations that bring daily life in ancient Rome to life. Walk through remarkably preserved houses, temples, streets, and public spaces frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
