Discover how Christmas is celebrated in Sweden, from the food, to the traditions and rituals. You will be able to soak up the Swedish Christmas spirit with a tasting of holiday dishes and treats.

- the Christmas light displays start only around 3 pm as of November 17th, 2026 (so you won't see most lights turned on if you choose the morning tour)

- the Old Town Christmas market is only open from November 28th to December 23rd, but there are other markets we will refer you to if you join us before Nov 28th.

Meeting and pickup

  • We meet in front of the entrance to the Nobel Prize Museum in Stortorget, where the Old Town Christmas market is located. The guide will be wearing an orange name tag and an orange hat that says "Xperience Stockholm". Please arrive 10 mins before, especially if you want to explore the market!
