Sunset Sandboarding at La Paz Dunes Tour

4.7(13)Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 13 reviews3 h 30 minFree cancellationBy Next Experience Travel
Want to try something new, fun and out of the ordinary? Try our Sunset Sandboarding Tour at La Paz!

About this activity

Adventure in La Paz doesn't end at the sea. Just 20 minutes from the city, El Mogote rises between the desert and La Paz Bay, with sand dunes reaching up to 100 feet high.

Strap on a sandboard and turn the Baja desert into your playground. Start small, build your confidence and work your way toward the higher dunes, with spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez waiting at the top.

With a maximum of just 8 guests, the experience stays small and personal, giving you more time with your guide as you learn, ride and make your way across the dunes.

And just when you think the views can't get better, the sun begins to set. Watch golden light sweep across the sand, cactus-filled desert and Sea of Cortez from the top of the dunes.

It's an unusual combination you won't find on an ordinary beach day: 100-foot dunes, sandboarding, Baja desert, Sea of Cortez views and a spectacular sunset—all just minutes from La Paz.
