Experience an insider look at the World Heritage listed Sydney Opera House on this 1-hour guided walking tour with a Mandarin-speaking guide. Patrons must be able to speak Mandarin to participate on this tour. This is in the interests of safety and to ensure all patrons have an enjoyable and inclusive experience.

Explore under the Sails with a knowledgeable guide who will explain the history and architecture of the Opera House’s controversial construction, enjoy insider secrets and stories about the stars and thousands of performances that have taken place since the Icon opened in 1973.

Enjoy photo opportunities from unique off-limit vantage points. Each perspective brings a unique and breathtaking experience.

After the tour enjoy a show-stopping meal at either the new House Canteen or Opera Bar and take in some best views of Sydney Harbour. No reservations are needed to dine. You can enjoy your meal anytime between 11.30am and 6pm.

Meeting and pickup

  • Please exchange this voucher for your tour ticket at the Welcome Center located on the Lower Concourse level of the Sydney Opera House. Please arrive approx 10 min prior to your scheduled departure time.

  • Please note the guided tour contains approx. 300 stairs - Low Impact.
  • Infants under 5 are permitted on the 1 hour tour free of charge, however still require a ticket to be booked
  • Tour + Main Meal & Drink: Redeem your ticket stub at either Opera Bar or House Canteen between 11.30am - 6pm on the day of your tour to enjoy a main meal and a beverage from a selection.
  • Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.
  • Please arrive at the Welcome Centre 15 minutes prior to your tour time to adhere to check in and cloaking procedures. If you are more than 5 minutes late from the start time of your tour, your tour will be forfeited
  • Tour is provided in Mandarin. You must be fluent in the language to undertake the tour for safety requirements.

Cancellation policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
