About this activity

On this cultural experience, you will have a full experience of wearing traditional Japanese kimono and a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. You will learn all you need to know about the tea ceremony from a friendly English-speaking tea master in relaxed manner.

Your memorable moments will be captured by our professional photographer and you will receive 3 digital photos as a memento of your experience.

Itinerary:

■10:00/14:00 Meet at the venue

■10:15/14:15 Change into Kimono and enter the tea room. Watch the tea ceremony demonstration in English.

■You will make your own Match green tea and have it with Japanese sweets.

■11:45/15:45 Finish the experience

Meeting and pickup

  • 【Meeting Point】GION ORIZURUYA Located in a traditional townhouse on a narrow, car-free alley. Look for the white fabric curtain (Noren) at the entrance. Once inside, please provide your name to the receptionist.
  • 【Meeting Point】Nishiki Orizuruya Please enter the traditional Japanese townhouse "Nishiki Orizuruya". You will see a large sign and our green board "Japan Wonder Travel" at the entrance. Once inside, please provide your name to the receptionist.
