Tel Aviv Street Art Tour in Florentin with a Real Graffiti Artist

Let me give you a sneak peek into Tel Aviv’s street art scene.

On this tour we walk through the neighborhood and look at the walls, the murals and the writing on the wall. But the real reason I do it is to show you the scene from the inside, because something changed here recently.

A new wave of artists joined in, and they brought a lot of color to the city. The municipality gave up on stopping it. Now developers sell new apartments with the graffiti underneath. My tag is worth money today. I never planned that.

Along the way I’ll share a unique kind of graffiti art that exists only in Israel, and only in this neighborhood. I’ll tell you who paints where and what the unwritten rules of the street are. Since October 7th the walls have changed. You’ll see sorrow, and also hope for better times, as the art comes back to life. I paint live too, and I’ve watched this scene grow from the inside.
