Starting from the heart of Tromsø, embark on a journey that immerses you in the essence of the Arctic. Crossing the bridge to Kvaløya, the buildings disappear and the wild landscape unfolds before you.

As you advance, your senses awaken. The snowy peaks and the tranquil waters of the fjords produce a hypnotic effect. Upon arriving in Sommarøy, the white sandy beaches and turquoise waters give a fantastic twist to the landscape. The scattered islands are a gift to the eyes, where fishing villages live in harmony with nature.

Your expert guide will share secrets of the place while you capture magical moments with your camera. Keep your eyes peeled: reindeer, seals, elk, and sea eagles can appear at any time. Meeting and pickup

  • JUST FOR CRUISE SHIPS GUEST: Please head to the taxi rank located just outside the port. The guide holding a sign for Aurora 7 Nordic Experiences will be waiting for you
  • Go to the Scandic Ishavshotel hotel. Your guide with the Aurora 7 sign will pick you up outside the hotel to then go up to the minibus or minivan. Important: (You must confirm the meeting point in your booking)
