Hoover Dam overlooking the Mighty Colorado River

Stradling the Colorado River, the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Bridge guides the way to the Hoover Dam on this tour from Las Vegas.

About this activity

Your trip to Las Vegas won’t be complete without a tour of the mighty Hoover Dam, where thousands of Depression-era workers tamed the Colorado River in under five years. This tour takes you inside the dam itself on the guided Power Plant Tour, standing among the massive generators that still send electricity across the Southwest, then up top to walk the dam with Lake Mead and the river far below. An unforgettable half-day with an icon of American engineering, backed by Gray Line’s decades of Hoover Dam experience.
