At the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Aigai and the Polycentric Museum of Aigai, tour both sites at your own pace on a self-guided visit. Marvel at royal treasures of the Macedonian dynasty, such as the golden larnax of Philip II, alongside royal artifacts, ancient coins, and the gold-threaded ceremonial robe.

Returning to Thessaloniki, see the Church of Saint Demetrius, dating to the 4th century AD. Walk through UNESCO-listed Ano Poli, stopping at Hosios David Church, the Monastery of Vlatadon, and scenic spots overlooking the Thermaic Gulf.
