Vienna Woods Tour including underground lake

About this activity

Special feature: Boat trip and wine tasting in one tour.

Discover the Vienna Woods tour from Vienna. Visit the Lichtenstein Castle, the underground lake, and the wine tavern from the outside.

Start your day with a visit (outdoors) to Lichtenstein Castle, the symbol of Vienna. Enjoy a boat trip on the lake and try wine.

Next, you will go to the underground lake, which is on private property. Take a boat trip on the lake and enjoy the view of the surroundings. (Sometimes, for technical reasons, we may have to replace a visit to the underground lake with another attraction, for example, a visit to the Laxenburg Castle Park or the Heiligenkreuz Abbey.)

After the boat trip, you visit a local wine tavern. Learn more about the local wine production and try some of the local wines.

Group tours and private options.

The tour lasts 4 hours. It may take longer in the event of traffic jams.
