About this activity

Here, steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and volcanic terrain create a fascinating natural spectacle. Nearby, visit the tranquil Oyunuma Pond, a sulfurous hot spring lake surrounded by lush forests.

Continue to the scenic Lake Toya, a beautiful caldera lake located within Shikotsu-Toya National Park. Enjoy free time to stroll along the lakeshore and admire the peaceful views.

Nearby stands the fascinating Showa Shinzan, an active volcanic lava dome formed during an eruption in the 1940s. You’ll also visit Noboribetsu Bear Park, where you can observe Hokkaido brown bears in a unique mountain setting.
